HB 1403 (Quinn) – Summary – Requires Life Insurers to check the Social Security Death Master File for deceased policyholders
Amendment A10273 (White) – Summary – Includes a provision to allow the Insurance Commissioner to grant exemptions to companies that have adequately demonstrated a hardship. The amendment also removes a notification requirement that is inconsistent with current PA escheat laws
