Media Advisory – Senate, House committees to hold hearing on aging issues

The Senate Aging & Youth and the House Aging & Older Adult Services Committees will hold a joint public hearing on aging-related issues on Thursday, August 28th, in Pittsburgh, according to Senator Randy Vulakovich, Chairman of the Senate Aging and Youth Committee.

The hearing is set for 10 a.m. at the University of Pittsburgh, University Club, 123 University Place, Pittsburgh.

Scheduled testifiers include representatives from the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, AARP, Pennsylvania Homecare Association, Leading Age PA, Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Allegheny County, Westmoreland County United Way, Gateway Health and the Health Underwriters Association.
